2024 Official Selection: Screenplay – Feature Film
A genealogist helps an African American man discover his deceased enslaved ancestors, which leads to unexpected good fortune and multiple awakenings about his true identity but first he must overcome age old barriers that prevent him from joining the most prestigious genealogy society in the United States where there are coveted scholarships that can benefit his daughter.
